Conteiq, Inc. ("Conteiq," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform at conteiq.io and any associated services (collectively, the "Platform").

By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please do not use the Platform.

• Organizational Data: Documents, files, communications, and information submitted to the Platform by Customer organizations.
• Customer: Any company or organization that subscribes to Conteiq services under a formal agreement.
• User: Any individual who accesses the Platform on behalf of a Customer.
• Processing: Any operation performed on Personal Data, including collection, storage, analysis, and deletion.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Account and Profile Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, work email address, job title, company name, and password (stored in hashed form). This information is necessary to provide access to the Platform.

3.2 Organizational Content

Conteiq processes documents, files, messages, and other content that Customer organizations connect to the Platform via authorized integrations (e.g., Google Drive, SharePoint, Slack). This content is processed solely to deliver the knowledge intelligence services.

3.3 Usage and Analytics Data

We collect information about how users interact with the Platform, including queries submitted, features used, session duration, and performance metrics. This data helps us improve our services and identify knowledge gaps.

3.4 Technical Data

We automatically collect IP addresses, browser type, device identifiers, operating system information, and log files when you access the Platform. This information is used for security monitoring and service reliability.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Conteiq Platform and its AI knowledge intelligence features
• Process and respond to queries submitted to the knowledge system
• Authenticate users and maintain account security
• Send transactional communications (account updates, security alerts, invoices)
• Analyze Platform usage to improve features and user experience
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements
• Detect, prevent, and address security incidents and fraud

We do not use Customer Organizational Data to train generalized AI models or share it with other Customers or third parties outside of service delivery.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information with:

• Service Providers: Cloud infrastructure providers, analytics platforms, and payment processors that assist us in operating the Platform under strict data processing agreements.
• Legal Authorities: When required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, where Privacy Policy terms will remain binding.
• With Your Consent: Any other sharing will require your explicit, informed consent.

6. Data Security

Conteiq employs enterprise-grade security measures including AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, multi-factor authentication, role-based access controls, and continuous security monitoring. We are SOC 2 Type II certified and undergo regular third-party penetration testing.

Despite these measures, no internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected parties as required by applicable law.

7. Data Retention

We retain Personal Data for as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law. Customer Organizational Data is retained per the terms of the Customer's service agreement. Upon contract termination, Organizational Data is deleted within 30 days unless a longer retention period is required by law.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate personal data
• Request deletion of your personal data (right to erasure)
• Restrict or object to certain processing activities
• Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is consent-based

9. International Data Transfers

Conteiq operates globally. Your data may be processed in jurisdictions outside your country of residence. We ensure that all cross-border transfers comply with applicable data protection laws, including the use of Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers from the European Economic Area.

10. Children's Privacy

The Conteiq Platform is designed exclusively for enterprise use and is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has provided information, we will promptly delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Platform at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
